herges detection® supports security experts in the fight against international terrorism. The successful product hergex® Multi-Stick is the result of more than 10 years of development work. Currently, the company is developing another product, the hergex® Multi-Spray. Are you wondering how successful these products will be on the market? The German Research Society granted Prof. Dr. Rainer Herges, head of the Institute of Organic Chemistry at the Christian Albrechts University, 12 years of uninterrupted funding for the special research area from which this product emerged. The applications clearly and directly resulted from this research field. Professor Herges had 25 million euros at his disposal for this purpose. The internationally renowned professor, who also taught at MIT in Boston, has thus developed a method that is urgently needed in times of international terror.

The company herges detection® has been granted the exclusive right by the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel to use the patent-pending "High-Chem" substance worldwide for a period of 20 years.
The process recognizes all common explosives. What's more, even after an explosion, forensic experts can use it to identify the explosive used. This is an important tool for investigators, forensic experts, explosives clearers and event and bodyguards.

    Normally, explosives are detected with heavy machine technology. A hergex® Multi-Stick weighs 0.1 grams and can therefore be carried by any investigator and kept in stock in a vehicle or pocket.
